GKRP Timoer Rumbay Kusuma Dewayani, head of Sasana Wilapa for the PB XIV Purbaya camp, stated that she had no knowledge of the petition. Based on her statement on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, the document did not originate from the official accounts of either the Keraton Surakarta or the Customary Council Institution.
"The petition was not created or circulated by an official account of the Surakarta Palace," Timoer said. "It is useless because the palace has its own customary rules and customary law. We see no need to respond to an issue that creates chaos rather than peace."
According to palace officials, the PB XIV Purbaya camp will not take legal action against those who created or shared the petition. Instead of engaging with online controversies, the faction intends to focus its energy on preserving and advancing the cultural heritage of the Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta.
