The city of Solo altered its traffic routes. The change comes because workers must rebuild the western leg of the Simpang Panggung intersection in Jebres, Central Java. Drivers must navigate new detours until the project finishes in late summer.

According to Andri Wahyudi, the traffic chief of Dishub Kota Solo, the closure started on July 17 and will last until August 17, 2026. Traffic running from east to west remains normal.
Drivers heading east from the Ringin Semar area cannot go straight. Based on statements from local officials, vehicles that enter Jalan Monginsidi must turn left onto Jalan Ahmad Yani and proceed through Jalan Tentara Pelajar. The transportation agency also diverts eastbound vehicles earlier at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque intersection, turning them toward the northern route of Jalan Tentara Pelajar.
The construction changes public transit lines. The Batik Solo Trans corridor two bus line now takes a different path. The buses run along Jalan Monginsidi, Jalan Irian, Jalan AR Hakim, and Jalan Urip Sumoharjo before they return to Jalan Kolonel Sutarto.
