A man broke past security at the NBC studios in New York on Thursday morning. The intruder entered Studio 1A at 30 Rockefeller Center. According to authorities, the man was Andrew Truelove. He has a long criminal record and pending legal cases.

Subscribe Sekarang →Reports from TMZ indicate Truelove was searching for anchor Al Roker. When he did not find Roker, he lunged at co-host Craig Melvin. Witnesses said the man shouted a racial slur before security guards grabbed him. No one was hurt in the scuffle.
Based on a statement from the New York Police Department, officers arrived at the Midtown North Precinct area around 9:19 a.m. They took the disorderly man into custody inside the building. The police said the investigation remains active.
Melvin later shared a message on social media to reassure his followers. "I am doing just fine," Melvin wrote. "Thanks for reaching out." He added that he looked forward to returning to the broadcast the next morning.
NBC News released a statement confirming the breach in the vestibule near the studio. The network stated that Melvin alerted security immediately. The network is now reviewing its security protocols to ensure the safety of its staff and guests.
The incident occurred on the same day co-host Savannah Guthrie returned to the show. Guthrie had been dealing with the disappearance of her mother, Nancy Guthrie. She announced she would soon take a temporary leave to film a new game show.
