Rising Temperatures and Essential Health Precautions for Residents

Residents of Jakarta can expect uninterrupted sunshine as the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts clear weather conditions throughout the metropolis. This bright weather pattern is also expected to extend across the coastal resort area of the Thousand Islands, signaling a dry and vibrant start to the week.

According to the official meteorological data, temperatures in the capital city will range between a low of 25°C and a maximum high of 33°C. Accompanying the heat, relative humidity levels are projected to fluctuate between 72% and 79%, creating a warm and moderately humid atmosphere across the urban landscape.

Health authorities and meteorologists advise the public to take necessary precautions to mitigate the effects of the intense heat. "Residents are highly encouraged to increase their daily water intake to stay hydrated and to utilize protective gear such as hats or umbrellas when spending extended periods outdoors," a representative noted regarding the sunny outlook.

A detailed regional breakdown indicates that South and East Jakarta will experience the peak temperature of 33°C, while Central and West Jakarta will hover slightly lower at 32°C. Meanwhile, North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are expected to enjoy marginally cooler conditions, with maximum temperatures topping out at 31°C and 29°C respectively.
