Audio Leak Details Purported Multi-Billion Rupiah Scheme to Influence Judges

Attorneys representing Indonesian beauty doctor Reza Gladys officially visited the Supreme Court in Central Jakarta to submit a formal request for judicial immunity and protection on behalf of the panel of judges handling the legal cases of celebrity Nikita Mirzani. This strategic move was prompted by the discovery of compelling evidence pointing toward active external interference aimed at compromising the impartiality of the ongoing judicial review.

The legal team presented an audio recording featuring a voice that closely resembles Mirzani, which reportedly details an illicit scheme to bribe supreme court judges with Rp 4 billion to alter decisions during the cassation and judicial review stages. Legal counsel Yoki Pranata Sinulingga emphasized that the explicit conversation captured a woman furiously demanding accountability for the hefty sum after failing to achieve her desired outcome during the initial cassation appeal.

According to attorney Julianus P. Sembiring, the recording explicitly references the multi-billion rupiah transaction alongside the name of a legal colleague, illustrating behind-the-scenes engineering of the verdict. "The contents of the audio clearly show a woman complaining that the Rp 4 billion sum is substantial and demanding that the effort be extended into the judicial review stage," Sembiring explained, urging the Chief Justice to launch a thorough investigation into the matter.

The long-standing conflict began when Reza Gladys reported Mirzani for alleged extortion and money laundering, leading to a South Jakarta District Court verdict in October 2025 sentencing Mirzani to four years in prison. The Jakarta High Court later increased the penalty to six years for cybercrime and money laundering violations, a sentence upheld by the Supreme Court during cassation right before Mirzani filed for her final judicial review in June 2026.
