Prominent Indonesian vocalist Hetty Koes Endang was among the many high-profile figures who gathered at the funeral home in Pancoran, South Jakarta, to pay their final respects to music icon Titiek Puspa. During her visit, Hetty shared emotional reflections on how the late singer served as a foundational pillar and a cherished guide throughout her decades-long musical journey.
Hetty recalled that their professional bond began decades ago when Titiek served as a judge for various music competitions. The late icon closely monitored Hetty's artistic evolution, witnessing her transition from a regional performer in West Java to a national star after relocating to Jakarta, ensuring she always had constructive artistic direction.

The mentorship culminated in a defining career milestone when Hetty won a major music competition performing "Cinta Putih", a song crafted by Titiek. "She continued to guide me and follow my career journey because she was a judge at that time, up until 1977 when I won using her song," Hetty remarked while highlighting the special place Titiek holds in her heart.
Titiek Puspa has been laid to rest at the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery in South Jakarta following an emotional burial ceremony attended by family, friends, and fans. A cohort of other legendary Indonesian musicians, including veteran singer Vina Panduwinata, also joined the procession to bid their final farewell to the beloved industry pioneer.
